This is Bunny, also known as Pandabunnycat. She's a Chihuahua rescue currently on adventure with my friend, Rio. Before this, though, she was a breeding dog in a puppy mill and walked on chicken wire for 3 years of her life.
Please reconsider buying from petstores, there's plenty of unicorn doggies like Bunny waiting for a loving home. Don't support puppy mills.

First post of 2014!

Een fijn 2014 toegewenst! Ik weet dat het aan de late kant is maar het mag blijkbaar tot de 14e dusss...op de valreep. ;-)
Mijn dank is groot aan iedereen die van 2013 een creatief en geïnspireerd jaar voor mij hebben gemaakt, zonder jullie ben ik nergens! Hopelijk brengt 2014 meer leuke ideeën en inkt, en om alvast te beginnen zijn hier de eerste paar tattoos die ik dit jaar gezet heb. Enjoy!


Happy 2014 everyone! I know it's a bit on the late side but I've been told it's okay up until the 14th sooo...in the nick of time. ;-)
Thanks to everyone that has made 2013 such an inspired and creative year, I couldn't have done it without you! Here's to more inkslinging in the new year. To start it off, here's the first couple of tattoos I've done this year. Enjoy!

Egotastical!

Vandaag heb ik voor de eerste keer mijn Ego tattoo machine mogen uitproberen! Zoveel lichter dan mijn andere machientjes dus het was even wennen maar mijn pols was me al vrij snel heel dankbaar. ;)
Ik kan niet wachten om de verdere mogelijkheden met deze roze cutie te ontdekken!





Today I finally got to try out my Ego tattoo machine! It's so much lighter than what I'm used to so it took some getting used to, but at the end of the day my wrist was very thankful. ;)
I can't wait to explore more options with this pink cutie!

Update! (finally!)

Het is weer een tijdje geleden! Alhoewel het bijhouden van mijn Facebook pagina (http://www.facebook.com/iristentacle) me nog met enige regelmaat lukt, laat het bloggen nog meestal even op zich wachten.

Ik heb er een aantal leuke projecten bijgekregen die ook zeker op mijn blog terecht zullen komen zodra we wat verder zijn, dus houd oren en ogen gespitst!

Verder kijk ik uit naar de Amsterdam Tattoo Convention waar mijn collega Pawel Jankowzki zal staan en ik zondag een kijkje ga nemen.

It's been a while! Even though I manage to semi-regularly update my Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/iristentacle), keeping my blog up to date slips between the cracks more often.

I've got a couple of new exiting projects that I'm hoping to share on this blog once we've progressed a bit more so stay tuned!
Next to that I'm looking forward to visiting the Amsterdam Tattoo Convention where my coworker Pawel Jankowzki will be manning a booth.

Work In Progress post 01

Ok...Dit is niet helemaal een "work in progress"-post aangezien ik als eerst begin meteen tattoo die helemaal af is maar de rest van de tatoeages in deze post voldoen wel aan deze omschrijving!

Alright so...This isn't entirely a "work in progress"-post since I'm starting off with a tattoo that's finished but I promise the rest of the photos fit the description! 

Als eerst de Deventer toren die na een bijwerk-sessie "officieel" af is ;-)

First off the Deventer toren which after a touchup-session is finally "officially" finished ;-)

En deze dame staat aan de binnenkant van dezelfde arm waar de toren op staat, het stuk er tussen in zal gevuld worden met een door Thomas Hooper's werk geïnspireerde bloem

And this lady is on the inside of the same arm, the space in between the face and the Deventer Toren shall be filled up with a flower inspired by Thomas Hooper's work
